Is dark bitter chocolate good for you? There have been many claims over the years that chocolate is good for you, or more specifically cocoa, the raw ingredient of chocolate.
The Kuna Indians in Central America used to consume cocoa everyday and this was reported to be responsible for their generally good cardiovascular health.
However, further studies investigating chocolates influence on other health issues such as leg ulcers, cancer and stress are less convincing, so I think we should all focus on enjoying the taste of chocolate, rather than its health benefits!!
